Challans poultry comes from traditional breeds, well known for running freely and maturing slowly. In fact, the average rearing time is around 3 times higher than for the majority of standard chickens and up to 8 days longer than required for the ‘Label Rouge’ certification.

As a result: an exceptionally tasty and firm meat, the true result of mature poultry. The difference is so obvious: non standardised, plumper and meatier poultry.

As for the identification ring, it is put manually by the breeder in order to guarantee the strict selection of every bird as well as full traceability from the farmer to the consumer.
